We love going to Portmeirion so much we will go there for very small financial reward.  We’re happy just to get to drive through the mountains, enjoy the ambience and eat the ice cream!

Mother and daughter Mairi and Kathryn took some really beautiful pictures of each other. In some ways it was harder for them as they knew each other so well, so we had to go beyond and look for the REAL person behind the mask.  Mairi is a vet, Kathryn a textile artist.

Anne has done all our courses, and Anjam has done DSLR in Manchester.  They decided to say “what would your dream job be?” and photograph each other for their future websites!  Anjam, photographer, and Anne, racing driver!

They had to establish rapport very quickly, but were both absolutely delighted with the results and both have usable photos:

Cheerful composition from Andrea!

Same flowers, different viewpoint from Sally.

Through the trees to Charlecote from Sally.

David caught the angle of the statues.

Kevin got a great low angle for a dramatic foreground and blurry background.  Great stuff!

Tamara got some great shots of flowers, and did a spot of caterpillar-wrangling:

Kirsty got this interesting angle on the building – great eye!

Barbara got plenty of sky and foreground.

Lynda spent a couple of days with us, and thanks to her he have the Camera Cafe as a venue.  On the creative course with Rachel she played with zooming giving an amazing effect in camera.  No photoshop for the creative students!
