We’re not put off by a bit of bad weather, and usually when it’s rainy, there are a few dry spells to get out in…..well, not today! It literally didn’t stop at all! But hey,ho off we went to Chatsworth eager to see the 60 Rolls Royces to celebrate each year of the Queen’s reign (rain?!!). We had a good sized group who were determined to get to grips with their camera’s, and get off the automatic modes and learn what all the knobs and switches do. Practicing shallow / deep depth of field was the order of the day. Also in such grey conditions, white balance can improve colours too. The gardens are beautiful, and the giant step water feature is always popular with our students! There were still crowds there, but perhaps the saddest sight was a giant, long table with balloons for the Jubilee celebrations which was empty…and chairs full of water. And as we always say…nice weather for ducks!
