We love going to Culzean so much we’ll camp in a caravan in a howling gale to do it!  It’s a fantastic place to photograph, and just enjoy.

First few pictures from Culzean Castle

Joanne came to Culzean Castle as an absolute beginner – with her new camera keen just to get a blurry background. These are some of the pictures she took – the first one being taken after about 90 minutes of instruction!

Joanne, wisely, has a Nikon D70 camera – one of our favourites (in fact, we have just bought one for the princely sum of £90). It just goes to show it’s not about the camera, it’s about the photographer.

Well done Joanne!!

Culzean Castle, on the Ayrshire coast about an hour from Glasgow, is a great location for photography courses. We had a really varied group – so can you work out which pictures were taken by a 15 year old, or a management accountant a retired police inspector? Didn’t think so!!
