Photography Courses Bristol, England
Ashton Court, Bristol
Teaching our photography courses Bristol at Ashton Court means that we teach just 2 miles from the city centre, while being entirely surrounded by Somerset countryside.
The estate is a major recreational area of 850 acres. We are based in the visitor centre in the manor’s old stables. We meet in the courtyard at 10am and finish there at about 4:45pm.
The grounds have formal rose gardens, parkland, an iron-age hill fort and giant redwood trees. There are herds of deer with the Bristol skyline behind. As a location for our photography courses Bristol is one of most popular and favourite. We have judged photography competitions for Venue magazine (RIP) and the Bristol Civic Society, and many “favourite pictures of Bristol” are taken at Ashton Court. It’s a great place to spend time.

- “Just a quick message to say a very, very big thank you for a most enjoyable, interesting and informative course. It has really enlivened me to get going and be creative again. I will certainly be booking for one of your landscape photography courses next spring or summer. We have also recommended your courses to a couple of our friends, who like me have been on previous photography courses which have been a disaster. Thank you once again, and look forward to seeing you again next year.”Stewart, Creative Photography Course Bristol 2011
- “I loved the day and came home and took some much better photos of my kids…. Lots to work with. And when I’ve improved a bit hope to be back for more inspiration.”Katrina, Bristol 2011
