Getting creative on landscape photography course at Stourhead, Wiltshire
There is a problem with landscape gardens if you’re a photographer. Everything you see has been laid out for you in the correct proportions by the designer many years ago. Stourhead is particularly vista-heavy – a series of composed views that you take in one after the other as you promenade around lake. Very nice it is too, but it doesn’t make your pictures individual and interesting.
This group set out to take a different set of pictures at Stourhead. As usual, one from each photographer – one individual vision, one perspective, and hopefully something Henry Hoare would appreciate but not have thought of!
