Great photographs from Chatsworth photography course
On a sunny day it’s hard to take bad pictures at Chatsworth , it’s as if the landscape has been designed for pictures, which in a way it was. The Cascade and Emperor Fountain are also great for testing out your shutter speed and getting your droplets right.
It often helps to get an unusual angle, and Clive got down nice and low for this one – it doesn’t change the perspective of the house, but the foreground helps to ad drama to the scene.
Tricky exposure here, but Linda got lucky – there is enough pale foreground to balance the dark trees, so the exposure came out well by pure luck!! Other less-balanced shots needed some exposure compensation to balance the bright central light.
We had a small but select group, a lovely balance of ages and cameras and the photography course at Chatsworth was enjoyed by all.
