Being a wedding photographer can be a lucrative if competitive career. We try to help with one and reduce the other. Our wedding photography course shows you that photographing a wedding is about capturing a series of planned events, while being on the lookout for unplanned ones.

It’s also about taking superb photos while not ruining the occasion. We have the use of some outstanding venues – the chapel at Sudeley Castle which has hosted numerous celebrity weddings, beautiful function rooms at Portmeirion and in the Winter Gardens and Priory at Malvern.

We can also come to you, perhaps at the location where you’re going to be photographing your first wedding.

Brave previous customers have taken the course and photographed a wedding the next day (although we don’t recommend it)! This is not a portfolio day where aspiring professional wedding photographers build a pointless portfolio of flattering but unrealistic pictures – this is a lesson in how to photograph weddings from a couple who’ve seen it all.

It is an intensive day and we charge our usual one-to-one prices for the day (which depend on the distance from Malvern).

These prices are for up to two people (adults or children). Extra people can be accommodated for £50 each
