Julian’s David Beckham picture
Last year Julian recently came on a DSLR course on the Severn Valley Railway and sent us this email and picture:
Been getting your email updates and just a quick line to say I am getting into my photography with a passion!
Since your course at Severn Valley August 2010, I have tried to experiment and take photos in different environments and of different subjects.
I have attached a picture taken at a testimonial football match of David Beckham. I love it and weird thing is I nearly deleted it when I got home as thought it wasn’t great. I love the fans all taking pics of him as I was able to zoom in and capture it all. Thought you might want a look.

It’s a fantastic shot when you consider that Julian does not have professional equipment and is relatively new at all this – well done! The black and white is really effective too – talk about thinking about your background!
