Our London photography courses have been selected to give a range of photographic subjects, as well as to cover as much of the city as possible. Whether you like to photograph stately homes, museum exhibits, street photography, buildings, landscapes or people, we have a course that will suit you, and a suitable venue.
Come with us to photograph the treasures at the British Museum (Holborn), the mysterious land of Crystal Palace (Bromley) or the lovely grounds of Forty Hall (Enfield). We have undertaken one to one photography classes in London, at people’s houses, London Zoo or along the river, in daytime or evening light. We have also carried out photography training for London-based corporations.
Camera Museum is a lovely quirky venue originally suggested by a customer, close to the treasures of the British Museum, as well as street photography opportunities and architectural treats in Holborn. Photographing museum exhibits can be difficult, and we can help with advice as to the lenses and settings you may need. In such a restricted space we always have small groups here (maximum 6), which means that we are particularly able to give our customers extra attention in the tricky light of the British Museum. The nearest tube is Holborn or Tottenham Court Road, other public transport information can be found here.
Crystal Palace is suitable for those photographers who are interested in wildlife or landscape photography. We chose this venue as it is full of peculiar Victorian subjects (statues of dinosaurs, sphinxes, and gorillas, anyone?). It’s also convenient for public transport (Crystal Palace overground station) and has plenty of free parking. It’s a great place to learn the basics and to stretch your creative muscles.
Forty Hall is a traditional stately home, with landscaped gardens including a reflecting lake and majestic cedar trees. It’s a fine example of the kind of National Trust home that many people like to photograph, and we can help with capturing what is unique and interesting about this particular property. Forty Hall has free parking but is also well served by public transport.
